SYNOPSIS 

This film tells the coming-of-age story of Yolanda and Mari, two young Mexican-American girls growing up in immigrant households, where they are expected to put the well-being of their families above all else. Following a sexually charged moment, the girls are unable to articulate their feelings for each other, and struggle with unspoken jealousy and confusion — and a betrayal that tests their very friendship.
